A welcome message from Lisa-Maree Browning, Principal of Cerdon College.
Welcome to Cerdon College, a Catholic secondary girls’ school that was founded by, and educates in, the tradition of the Marist Sisters.
Cerdon offers a quality education within a caring environment that promotes the Catholic values and traditions. We aim to lead our students to an awareness of what it means to be a Christian in the tradition of the Catholic Marist community. The religious teaching and liturgical life of the school underpin the structure of the school curriculum.
We are committed to providing each student with a learning environment which is comprehensive, personalised and challenging. We offer a holistic approach to education which ensures that each student develops key literacy and numeracy skills, as well as skills in communication, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving. We believe this allows them to adapt to an ever-changing world.
The College boasts excellent specialist facilities, and focuses on offering a broad and flexible curriculum. A wide extracurricular program ensures that all students' interests are met.
We value and support partnerships with parents and carers in the day-to-day education of their children. We believe that this should be founded on a spirit of mutual respect, co-operation, personal responsibility, communication, and involvement in community.
I welcome you to Cerdon College, a Marist community, that holds Mary at the centre as we prepare young women to make their place in an ever changing world.
