Ash Wednesday Liturgy
On Wednesday 14 February Cerdon College took time to acknowledge the commencement of Lent by remembering Ash Wednesday.
We were fortunate that Fr Peter of St Margaret Mary's was available to lead our liturgy.
We heard that Lent is not only a time of giving up, but perhaps even taking up something in our lives that bring us closer to God.
Our preparation during Lent is to ensure that Easter Sunday is a true celebration of Christ's resurrection. Students are challenged to perhaps forego a luxury in their lives, such as fast food, and donate this money to Project Compassion.
Once again we thank Fr Peter for his time.
