Shiarna Tarasenko of Year 12 recently returned to school following her international ice hockey commitments, where she represented Australia at the Women’s World Championships in April.
Shiarna, the youngest player on the team, first attended a training camp in the Czech Republic before heading to Slovenia for the World Championships. In the end, Australia finished 4th overall, beating many well established Ice Hockey nations along the way.
Shiarna also plays for the Sydney Sirens team as well as playing high-level netball after being selected in the Parramatta-Auburn team one metro league team.
We congratulate Shiarna on these achievements and look forward to following her sporting pursuits into the future as she continues her efforts in Ice Hockey and Netball.
